I made this as part of a pizza party event, and it was delicious. The real breakthrough for me, as far as homemade pizza/flatbread is concerned, was getting away, far, far away from tomato sauce. I tweaked things a little, painted the dough with olive oil and then sprinkled with the freshly-grated really old, nutty-yummy parmesan, then added the toppings, some the bacon and tomato and some carmelized onion plus olives. The fresh basil is wonderful, of course, and reminded me not to forget to make pizza with potato and arugula at some point. Either than, or go back to Rome.
